Dan Wheldon 1978-2011

I am at a loss of words about the event that we all witnessed Sunday afternoon. Dan was an ambassador for the sport but more important he was a husband and father. He was a champion, his ability on the track, his amazing personality and his smile will be missed. The Pick'em family extends our condolences, our sympathies and prayers to Dan's surviving wife and children, his parents, family, friends and the entire Indy Car community.

I understand this form of sport is dangerous, these men and woman strap themselves in a machine and race wheel wheel at over 200 miles per hour. These are some of the bravest people in all of sports, how they do this week in and week out knowing the pending risk is truly amazing.

- First off we got to give a few Pick'em Brews to the entire Sarah Fisher Racing team. The Kentucky race was by far the best non-Indy race of the season. Congrats to Ed and SFR!

- To SVBuckHunter and Jackie as they go head to head into the Vegas race.
